Individual psychotherapy is the process where the therapist works in a one-on-one setting with a client within a safe environment collaboratively. The purpose of individual psychotherapy is to work towards the goals of the individual, whether the client is seeking personal growth and insight or looking to achieve a higher quality of life through psychological healing.
You may be seeking individual therapy if you are experiencing personal challenges, want to process trauma or difficult emotions, want to work towards personal goals, seeking personal growth, looking to gain insight or self-actualization, or are experiencing interpersonal (relationship) challenges.
The reasons to seek individual therapy may vary from person to person, we would be privileged to support your personal growth and healing journey.
This method of therapy happens in a 1-on-1 format and is intended for teens (12+), adults, or older adults.
We typically would recommend 50-minute sessions, and one session per week.
